Intellectual Disabilities Drive (“ID Drive” or “Tootsie Roll Drive”) is one of the most recognizable activities that the Knights of Columbus do each year. All proceeds collected are distributed to local programs directly supporting children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities.

Kids received service hours as they prepared sack lunches for our brothers and sisters who are homeless or living in shelters throughout the Chicagoland area. Thank you to Carolyn Murphy and the rest of the Uncle Pete’s Ministry team for giving our youth the opportunity to serve the less fortunate, and creating awareness and hope for those in need.

Thank you for attending Donut Sunday this year! It is always wonderful to see many parishioners enjoying time together during our monthly Donut Sunday.
This weekend we welcome Fr. Peter Muojekwu from the Fada Pita Organization for the Archdiocesan annual Mission Cooperation Appeal. Fr. Peter is from the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, Nigeria, and an alumnus of Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. He is currently a hospital chaplain.
The Dining Room is open from 4:00pm - 5:00pm on Sundays for a shared meal, no questions asked.
Our weekly bulletin is one of our most highly valued communication tools here at St. Paul of the Cross. In addition to including upcoming schedules, events, and opportunities, we also learn more about our rich history, about God's word, and about each other!
Most Fridays, our parish sends out a weekly e-enewsletter via Flocknote that includes a link to our bulletin and is full of other information about upcoming events, opportunities, etc.
We hope the resources found on this page may enrich your spiritual journey during this unprecedented time when we cannot come together as a community of faith in familiar ways. One thing we know for certain is that God has never left us. He is as present to us today as before. May this time of uncertainty and isolation draw us ever closer to Him.
In 2000, under the leadership of Pastor Fr. Carl Morello, St. Paul established the Parish Educational Endowment Fund. The goal of the fund is to help keep tuition as low as possible making Catholic education available to all families and to provide scholarships to well deserving and students in need and to assist with other educational needs of the parish. The fund began with a $10,000 donation from the school walk-a-thon fundraiser. The fund’s initial goal was to reach 1 million dollars and, until that goal was met, no monies were spent.
The parish priest and staff at St. Paul of the Cross Church are committed to making a welcoming place for you and your family to worship.
St. Paul of the Cross is a vibrant Catholic Community located North of Chicago. We have two worship spaces that are used on weekends - the upper church & Holy Family Chapel.
