New Cross Graces Food Pantry

Jeff, Avenues to Independence resident and program participant, was commissioned by St. Paul of the Cross, Park Ridge, IL  to create a watercolor piece of artwork for their food pantry in Park Ridge.

Jeff was ecstatic about this request.  After several weeks of hard work, he finished the painting. The piece was titled Sunrise and Serenity and was displayed at the Creative Avenues Art Show Iannelli Studios Heritage Center for several weekends in May before making its permanent home at the food pantry.  Last week, St. Paul of the Cross hosted a small reveal party with volunteers and Avenues staff so that Jeff could show off his beautiful artwork. Father James and Father Nick were around to bless and partake in the event.
