Members of the New Parishioner Welcome Ministry will be available on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the Parish Life Center to register new parishioners, answer any questions and distribute welcome packets.

At the Easter Vigil, our parish was blessed to welcome new members into the Catholic Church through the RCIA process. Through Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist, they now share fully in the life of Christ and His Church. We rejoice with them and ask you to keep them in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith.

Thomas certainly had some audacity in asking–no, demanding–to see the nail marks of the risen Christ. It would have been like Peter wanting to see the rooster again that had crowed. The nail marks should not have been something Thomas, or any of the other apostles, would have wanted to see.

Around the middle of Lent I did the Stations of the Cross with our religious education program. It was a “teaching Stations,” where I explained each Station in our church and pointed out some of the features of the paintings. We have beautiful Stations and there are many interesting little symbols discretely portrayed in each of the paintings. One of the symbols throughout the corpus has to do with sight and seeing.

On behalf of the Holy Family Guild and Vitalant, we would like to thank all those who came to the 2026 Parish Blood Drive! We were able to collect 76 units of blood - that will help about 228 patients! Amazing!
