Dear Parishioners,
This Sunday’s Gospel parable about the workers who all receive the same wage, though they all labored for different hours in the day, is one of my favorite parables. It’s challenging, make no mistake, but it’s beautiful.
Saint Francis of Assisi supposedly used to carry a skull with him. It served as a reminder of his frailty. Memento mori.
Dear Parishioners,
Our Gospel this weekend is taken from Matthew chapter 18, verses 15-20. Reading the preceding verses of the chapter actually gives us an interesting insight into our Lord’s words on forgiveness.
