Our Parish Planting Day took place on May 18th. It began with a beautiful prayer service led by Father Nick, who reminded us of the importance of caring for God’s creation. Parishioners of all ages gathered in the church garden, ready to get their hands dirty and contribute to our community’s green space. Volunteers worked together to plant a variety of vegetables and herbs. Hopefully, God will bless us with a bountiful harvest.
By the end of the day, the garden had been transformed into a beautiful and productive space. The Parish Garden Planting Day not only enhanced the physical environment of our church but also strengthened our bonds as a community, reminding us of the joy and fulfillment that comes from working together towards a common goal. We look forward to watching our garden grow and thrive in the coming months, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our parish family.
