Bible Study: Begins Sep 20th/21st

24-week Bible study entitled "The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation" begins Wednesday, September 20th at 7:00 pm or Thursday, September 21st at 9:30 am in the Holy Family Chapel

In The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation, presenter Jeff Cavins will show you how fourteen of the Bible's narrative books tell the biblical story from beginning to end. This is the foundational study for the following years. No knowledge of the Bible is required.

Using a unique color-coded chart, you will learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible and discover how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our faith. The Bible Timeline will teach you how to read and understand the Bible and introduce you to the wonderful narrative of the Bible in a way that will transform your life.

"I never would have read the Bible if it wasn't for this, and now I simply adore Scripture. It has given me such insight into the Catholic faith and helps me to understand it's true beauty." - Kyley D.

The Full-Color Bible Timeline Workbook: Provides session overviews, home reading assignments, engaging study questions, responses, and talk notes for the video presentations.

The Bible Timeline Chart: A fascinating, color-coded overview of the twelve Bible Timeline periods, the historical context for each book of the Bible, and the family tree of Jesus Christ.

Online Access for One Year: Immediate access to the 24 fifty-minute study videos presented by Jeff Cavins and to the online workbook.

Weekly Study Sequence: Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings home preparation - Read the Bible and answer the homework questions in the Study Set, which are a way to learn from within the heart of the Church.

Small Group Discussion: Small group discussion begins each class session. Participants share what they have learned and glean from others’ insights to get a fuller understanding of the passages they have read, followed with answers provided to the Study Set questions as an aid.

Video Lecture: Follows discussion and presents a Catholic perspective of the readings.

Student study sets are $40 and registration is required. To register, please complete this registration form.

You may either pay online by clicking here, by sending a check to our rectory, or by paying at first attendance. Checks should be made out to St. Paul of the Cross Church and include Bible Timeline in the memo line.
