Walking With Moms in Need

St. Paul of the Cross is part of the nationwide initiative, Walking with Moms in Need.

This program asks parishes to identify and respond to the needs of pregnant and parenting moms in our community. One of the goals of this program is to raise awareness of local resources that provide crisis pregnancy services and to extend support to them.

We invite you to learn more about a wonderful local organization, Aid for Women, and to ask you to support their amazing work.

Aid for Women helps thousands of women each year in the Chicago area who find themselves facing unexpected pregnancies. Each woman is provided with the emotional, practical, and spiritual support that she needs to choose life for her unborn baby and to provide a better future for her and her child. Aid for Women offers free life-affirming services, including 24/7 crisis pregnancy helplines, options consultations, pregnancy tests, ultrasound exams, medical and community referrals and client support groups. Aid for Women operates five pregnancy care centers and two maternity homes. You can make a donation and learn more about these amazing services at Please make sure to include “St. Paul of the Cross” as your parish affiliation. Donations can also be made in person at the Candlelight Rosary on May 13th or can be dropped off at the rectory.

Thank you so much for your generous support of this life-saving organization!
