Every parish in the Archdiocese is assigned a sister parish. Since the inception of this ministry over 45 years ago our sister parish has been St. Benedict the African East, located at 340 W. 66th St., Chicago, IL 60621. (773) 873-4464. Though this ministry originally began to help some poorer parishes stay afloat, it has become clear though the time we spend together that we have much to gain from our relationship with St. Ben's.

In addition to our monthly monetary support to St. Ben's, and our annual clothing drive, we have enjoyed pulpit exchanges and attended each other's Masses. Our Contemporary Ensamble Group has sung with their Gospel choir at both parishes. There have been women's prayer groups, a gardening project,  fashion shows, and luncheons. We have also done some school to school letterwriting.
