Involvement Opportunities for Families

Building Strong Catholic Families

Contact: Anna Mae Parkhill

Studies have shown that children receive their faith from the practices of the family and those children with well grounded faith practices succeed better in life and make better choices.  When families are stronger society is stronger and we all prosper.  St. Paul of the Cross has started a Strong Catholic Family Team, this team is putting weekly tips and suggestions in the bulletin, school and catechesis news blasts, and organizing activities for families.  The goal is to develop ways of supporting the family and assists our families in developing deliberate faith habits that give our children the foundation they require.

Faith, Fun, & Music

St. Paul of the Cross Department of Religious Education offers a music class for children from infants through 5 years old, twice a year. There is a Fall Session that begins in September and a Winter Session that begins in January. You come to class with your little ones for weekly music of classics and of songs celebrating God’s love all while making new friendships with other families in the parish! The course includes a CD.
