Our lives are a series of hellos and good-byes. We have just said good-bye to Fr John and now we are ready to say hello to Frs Matt and Peter. Both our new associates are moving into the rectory this week and you will see them at daily Mass in the next few days. I invite you to give them a warm St Paul welcome. I have no doubt that you will embrace them just as you have embraced all the other priests who have been here. Do take every chance you have to get to know them. I am sure once you know them, you will love them.
With all these changes, I am afraid some things may fall through the cracks. You may know that we have a new parish secretary, Mary Hoff. In this time of transition, it is possible that the rectory office may not function smoothly. I beg for your patience and indulgence. We promise to work out the kinks soon. As always, you can either email me or contact me by phone in case there are problems.
Please hold the parish in prayer. Kindly raise up our two new associates, Frs Matt and Peter, that they may help us all to love the Lord more and to live our faith with enthusiasm. Just as I have discovered, they too will find that we have an amazing parish community.
